We are seeking an experienced MEP Coordinator to join our team. This position will support the coordination and execution of mechanical and electrical systems on a large-scale, mission-critical construction project. The MEP Coordinator will work closely with project leadership, trade contractors, vendors, engineers, and client representatives to keep MEP work on schedule, within budget, and aligned with project requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee mechanical and electrical construction activities on mission-critical projects.
  • Coordinate and supervise mechanical and electrical trade contractors and vendors.
  • Manage MEP activities from preconstruction through construction and project closeout.
  • Develop and maintain MEP scopes, schedules, budgets, reports, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other MEP-related project requirements.
  • Track project costs, schedule progress, and changes throughout construction.
  • Coordinate between field teams, subcontractors, engineers, architects, and project management.
  • Identify MEP coordination issues and work with the appropriate teams to resolve them.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with owners, client representatives, design teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Ensure mechanical and electrical work meets project requirements, quality standards, and schedule commitments.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial construction experience involving large and complex mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Strong experience with data center or mission-critical construction.
  • Experience managing complex electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
  • Experience developing scopes of work and project schedules.
  • Experience coordinating RFIs, change orders, budgets, and cost control.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple subcontractors, trade partners, and vendors.
  • Strong communication and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to work closely with owners, architects, engineers, clients, and project teams.
