Position Overview


We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead day-to-day operations on active construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This role is responsible for coordinating subcontractors, managing site logistics, enforcing safety protocols, running field meetings, and maintaining progress in alignment with the project plan.

The Superintendent will work closely with project managers, foremen, trade partners, and inspectors to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable codes while maintaining strong communication across the project team.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead daily field operations and site coordination
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and trade sequencing
  • Conduct daily coordination and safety meetings
  • Maintain project schedules and support look-ahead planning
  • Enforce safety standards and quality control procedures
  • Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and field changes
  • Resolve field issues proactively and efficiently
  • Track project progress and maintain site documentation
  • Ensure site cleanliness, organization, and compliance


Qualifications


  • Previous field management experience on healthcare, higher education, civic, or corporate construction projects
  • Strong understanding of construction means, methods, logistics, and MEP coordination
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain schedule milestones
  • Proficiency reading construction drawings and specifications
  • Experience with construction technology and scheduling tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Safety-first mindset in a fast-paced construction environment
