Construction Manager

We are seeking Construction Managers to join established contractors supporting major construction projects across the U.S. We have opportunities at multiple levels, from experienced Construction Managers through senior-level leadership. These positions are responsible for leading construction activities in the field, coordinating project teams and trade partners, and making sure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards. The level of the position will be based on experience, project size, and previous leadership responsibilities.


Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day construction activities from mobilization through project completion
  • Lead field teams including Superintendents, Foremen, General Foremen, subcontractors, and trade partners
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and project logistics
  • Develop and manage short-term and long-term construction schedules
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential schedule or production issues
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, engineering teams, owners, general contractors, and other trades
  • Participate in project planning, coordination, and progress meetings
  • Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and construction documents
  • Support procurement and track long-lead equipment and material deliveries
  • Maintain strong safety and quality standards throughout construction
  • Monitor labor productivity and field performance
  • Assist with cost control, forecasting, change management, and overall project performance
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors as required
  • Support inspections, commissioning, turnover, and project closeout
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, and project partners
  • Mentor and develop field leadership and junior construction staff


Qualifications

  • Experience managing construction projects for an electrical contractor, general contractor, or specialty contractor
  • Strong field construction background with experience leading crews and project teams
  • Experience with commercial, industrial, mission-critical, data center, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, or other large-scale construction projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and field coordination
  • Experience managing manpower, subcontractors, vendors, and material planning
  • Knowledge of construction safety and quality requirements
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work closely with both field and project management teams
  • Experience with project cost, scheduling, procurement, or change management is preferred
  • Electrical construction experience is highly preferred for electrical-focused opportunities
  • Willingness to travel or relocate for project-based opportunities may be required depending on the position
